The Leather

Gump leather starts with pure vegetable tanned hide. A semi-opaque wax is applied to the surface, then each piece is hand-burnished at Brave's Canadian factory. The result is a casual, worn-in character that deepens with every wear — naturally burnishing further over time. The name? The leather is so distinct and full of personality, it reminded the team of a certain movie character.
